Twelve Balfour schools were named Pacemaker Finalists Tuesday by the National Scholastic Press Association.
Entries were judged by a team of advisers, selecting yearbooks that showcased exceptional coverage, writing, design, photography and graphics. The awards are for the 2019 yearbooks.
All finalists will be honored at the 2020 JEA/NSPA Spring National High School Journalism Convention in Nashville, Thursday, April 16, 2020. The books chosen as winners will be announced at the awards ceremony Saturday, April 18.
