A digital love letter to yearbook staffs everywhere

Despite school closures and social distancing, Balfour staffs are determined to finish their 2020 yearbooks. Take a look at how staffs nationwide are making it happen.

We’re so impressed, Balfour family! You didn’t even let a global crisis keep you from working on your yearbooks. The last few weeks have been brutal with school closings, event cancellations, job losses, city shutdowns and a sharp rise in coronavirus cases and deaths.

And yet, you’ve held steadfast, determined to finish your school’s yearbook. And more than ever, that yearbook is an essential part of the story. All the Twitter posts, press conferences and news broadcasts are important right now, an integral part of our digital world. But they’re not tangible. Your yearbook will be a living document, one you can see and touch; one you can read, flip through, and then go back and read again. Your book is the only permanent record of the year.

We know it hasn’t been easy. But we’re humbled by your dedication and love for yearbook. Here’s our love letter to you. Because we know Balfour family, #YouGotThis.
