Congratulations to five Balfour schools for winning 14 awards in the Associated Collegiate Press’ 2021 Individual Awards competition.
ACP announced the winners during a virtual ceremony Oct. 14 at the ACP/CMA the Fall National College Media Convention.
The Associated Collegiate Press named five Balfour schools as Design of the Year finalists as part of their 2021Individual Awards announcement.In the Design of the Year competition, Balfour dominated the two yearbook categories, taking 12 of the 19 finalist spots.
In the Yearbook Cover division, Texas A&M took second place for the 2021 cover while Baylor took fifth place for the 2020 volume. The other college finalists received Honorable Mentions.
In the Yearbook Page/Spread division, Baylor designers took second and third, while North Carolina State was fourth and the University of Miami earned fifth. Another Unversity of Miami spread received Honorable Mention as well as two Texas A&M spreads.
In the Photo and Story of the Year competitions, two student journalists earned Honorable Mention honors in sports divisions.
