The Associated Collegiate Press awarded Baylor University ACP’s highest award, the Pacemaker, Saturday at the ACP Spring National College Media Conference, in Long Beach, California.

The award is for yearbooks created for the 2020-21 school year. The national honor is given annually to exceptional student publications.

“These yearbooks deliver engaging verbal and visual stories, showcasing superior photojournalism, writing and design,” said Gary Lundgren, associate director and coordinator of the Pacemaker competitions.

ACP honored seven collegiate yearbooks finalists and selected four books at Pacemaker Winners. The University of Miami yearbook was one of the seven finalists.
