Get ready! It’s coming! National Buy Your Yearbook Day is Wednesday, Oct. 23. We created this annual event as a special day of the school year to focus specifically on yearbook sales, and build excitement and a sense of urgency for the yearbook. In honor of NBYYD, we have four contests you can enter. Two lucky winners in each contest will win $100 gift cards!
You work all year developing your theme for the book, but how do you share it with the school? Show us how you showcase your theme via advertising, T-shirts, marketing materials and other creative promotions.
We know creating a yearbook takes a village, so show us your support system! Send a photo of your adviser, principal or another individual in your school who goes above and beyond to help with the yearbook.
Create a video to promote your yearbook, and post it on your school’s website or social media page. Keep your video short & sweet (and extra points if you make us laugh)!
Creativity wins this prize. Send us your most unconventional marketing technique. It doesn’t have to be elaborate or expensive; imagination’s what this one’s all about! Live events, sidewalk chalk, unconventional signage, even costumes are fair game. The only limit is your imagination! Winners will be chosen by Balfour’s Marketing Team and recipients (two for each contest) will receive a $100 gift card. Ready to play? You have a few days to brainstorm and prepare your NBYYD plans.
