It’s almost here! National Buy Your Yearbook Day (NBYYD) is Thursday, October 25.
We created this day as a special time of the school year to focus specifically on yearbook sales, and build excitement and a sense of urgency for the yearbook.
We have four contests you can enter this year. Two lucky winners in each contest will be awarded $100 gift cards!

CONTEST 1: Lookin’ Good!
A staple in all marketing plans, here’s your chance to strut your [visual] stuff. Send us a pic of your most awesome yearbook sales flyer, table tent, bulletin board or poster. Bonus points if students or yearbook staff members appear in your pic!
CONTEST 2: Social Media: Yaaaas!
Social media ninjas, this one’s for you. Send a screenshot (and link) to your best social media post or campaign. The more creative, the better!
CONTEST 3: Lights, Camera, ACTION!
Create a video to help promote your yearbook, and post it on your school’s website or social media page. Send us a link (or tag us) so we can see your hard work. Keep your video short & sweet (and extra points if you make us laugh)!
CONTEST 4: Out of the Box
The prize here goes to your creative self. Send us your most unconventional marketing technique. It doesn’t have to be elaborate or expensive; imagination’s what this one’s all about! Live events, sidewalk chalk, unconventional signage, even costumes are fair game. The only limit is your imagination!
How to Enter
You can submit entries two ways:
1) Enter via social media: Post your submission on Facebook or Twitter using the hashtag #GottaGetAYearbook along with the category name.
2) Enter via email: Entries can be submitted to our email address BuyTheYearbook@balfour.com with your school name and category.
