NSPA names four Balfour schools Design of the Year finalists

Bowie High School and Bridgeland High School make the finalist list for second consecutive year while Aledo High School and Leander High School join them for the national recognition.

Four Balfour yearbook schools were named 2020 Design of the Year finalists by the National Scholastic Press Association this week. NSPA announced 10 finalists in 10 design categories, including publication and art divisions.

NSPA will announce winners in all of the Individual Award categories during their online award ceremony Saturday, Nov. 21, at 1 p.m. CST. The ceremony is part of the JEA/NSPA Fall National High School Journalism Convention, presented virtually Nov. 19-21.

Congratulations to all the finalists!
