Getting an early jump on yearbook sales can be key to a successful year.

Here are our top 10 strategies for driving early yearbook sales and setting your program up for success:

  1. Open the Online Store now. Your rep can help.
  2. Put a message on the marquee in front of the school.
  3. Write an announcement for the sports commentator to read at home games.
  4. Balfour has new images ready to download for social media announcements.
  5. Sell at open houses and other back-to-school events.
  6. Post a flyer with a QR code and post near the school’s front doors and front office.
    1. Resources on Studio Balfour can help. Look under the Build a Book tab on the Yearbook Supplies page.
  7. Use Balfour’s eMarketing campaigns to let nonbuyers know how to order a book.
    1. You can also thank buyers for supporting the yearbook program.
    2. (A student list must be uploaded before using eMarketing features. Your rep can help.)
  8. Hand out yearbook themed stickers or wristbands at lunch.
  9. Tiered pricing can encourage orders before the price goes up.
  10. Capitalize on back-to-school excitement and show off those early photos or take some pictures of the mascot or principal with last year’s yearbook.

Bonus Tip: Post them on social media with information on how to order.

Final Note: Nothing sells like a beautiful book. Talk to your rep to get ideas for how to improve this year’s book.
