Welcoming you back to school this fall looks quite different compared to previous years. While we may not be in the classroom or meeting for journalism events, the entire Balfour team is here for you and ready to keep connected and help you POWER-UP.
As we move through the next few months, keep in mind that you and your staff are the superheroes of your school! You are the ones who will champion the storytelling and record the history of this special year in your yearbook.
This is an opportunity to create a yearbook that will long outlive the social distancing requirements of today. We know it can be A LOT to keep everything you manage moving forward, so we want to help. As we start this new semester, here are some ways you can count on us.
We want to know how you are doing and keep you informed on what we are up to as well. Check-In is a time when we'll share exciting ideas for your staff and listen as you share the ideas and challenges you're facing. We want to help celebrate and problem solve together! Join us on Zoom for our NEW national advisers’ community CHECK-IN on September 9 at 1 p.m. CDT. Check your Sept. 2 email from the Zoom link, meeting ID and passcode. Additional Check-Ins will be announced via email.
As a successful season of Jumpstart Academy, we are coming back to you each Tuesday at 1 p.m. CST LIVE on Facebook in a new education series called PowerUp. Each week we will bring you a dynamic, content-rich session on topics to support you and your staff's needs now.

Every Thursday at 1 p.m. CST you are invited to join TechTalk on Zoom for a 60-minute lightning round of “Ask Me Anything.” Choose your software when you arrive, and we’ll break out into rooms to answer your specific questions on feature “how to’s.” Don't have a question, but want to listen in? No problem! Zoom link will be sent in advance of the first TechTalk.
