You Did It: Time to Celebrate!

Tuesday Tip: As you wrap up your spring book, take some time to rest, relax, and celebrate.

Three things to do when you finish your book:

1. Celebrate! Creating a yearbook is a huge accomplishment and deserves to be celebrated. First plan a party to show your staff how much you appreciate them and their hard work.

2. Then rest for a few days. Play games together, watch a movie, or if it’s a beautiful day, take a walk outside together. Set up a pretty backdrop and do an Instagram-worthy photoshoot.

3. Finally, teach your staff how to write thank you notes for the people who helped you create the book. The secretaries, coaches, and teachers you came to rely on for interviews, schedules, and information. Anyone who donated photos for the book. People who helped you with sales or technology, write them a thank you. Decorate the outside of the envelopes and hand-deliver each note with a smile.
