’Tis the season to focus on yearbook orders. Grab your cocoa, turn up the Christmas music and let’s ring in new sales.
The holiday season is an ideal time to boost yearbook sales. Staffs often raise the price in January so there’s incentive to buy now. And the yearbook is a smart gift to suggest for parents Christmas shopping. Here are four ways to put the jingle in your holiday sales.
1. Host a campus campaign. With your staff, brainstorm fun holiday ideas to implement on campus.
2. Spread the word. Make your holiday specials visible at school and on social media. Feature our holiday wishlist flyer around campus. Use Balfour’s social media graphics or create your own. Consider offering a coupon, free item or bundled package with extra yearbook goodies.
3. Ask for “Angel” yearbook donations. ’Tis the season for giving. Offer parents and teachers an opportunity to purchase yearbooks for students who can’t afford them. Buyers could name specific students on the order or let counselors suggest deserving recipients later. Consider setting up a Christmas tree in the cafeteria with angel-shaped ornaments to promote the event.
4. Reach parents directly. Go to the source; speak to the people with the purse strings. Use one of our holiday eMarketing campaigns to remind parents to order before the year ends. We also have holiday gift certificates that can be wrapped and put under the Christmas tree.
